Description

• Build, develop and execute the Business Development strategy, objectives, and roadmap. • Shape the structure and processes of the Business Development team to support strategic goals. • Stay current with industry trends to refine and enhance the Business Development strategy. • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and external partners. • Oversee the team’s performance through metrics and reporting, driving productivity and efficiency improvements. • Implement scalable performance standards, processes, and tools. • Hire and mentor a diverse team, preparing successors and supporting career development. • Enhance sales processes and drive productivity through coaching and best practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years in sales or business development, with a minimum of 5 years in a second-line leadership role. • A track record of building and scaling outbound sales functions, leading high-performing teams to achieve and exceed sales targets. • Deep understanding of outbound sales processes and business development strategies. • Extensive experience in creating scalable processes, cadences, and playbooks for outbound sales motions. • Proven ability to hire, develop, and promote top talent within a sales organization. • Demonstrated ability to tackle complex challenges and devise innovative solutions. • Familiarity with sales tools like Outreach.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, and ZoomInfo. • A high level of energy, enthusiasm, and a hunter mindset. • Familiarity with SaaS and cybersecurity industries is a plus.
