• Lead operations for the editorial team to manage workflows • Serve as a content project manager, maintaining project queues and tracking approvals • Innovate and drive meaningful process improvements across editorial operations
• 5+ years of experience in journalism, editing, corporate communications, and/or a related field, with operational experience that spans internal and external contributors and agencies • Proven success in delivering high-quality and organized projects on time with high attention to detail • Expert ability to be a self-starter, work autonomously, juggle multiple deadlines across disparate workstreams, prioritize competing tasks, and get things done efficiently • You easily build rapport and trust with others and have a collaborative attitude with a team-first approach • High professionalism and EQ; low ego along with an ability to collaborate effectively and cross-functionally with multiple teams across the firm • Knowledge of Wordpress/different CMS platforms • A builder mindset; reimagining content at a16z early-stage venture • Exceptional communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a focus on detail
