Description

• Backend development primarily in Node.js working closely with GCP and Firebase services • Architect, prototype, scope, and develop backend components for each project • Collaborate and communicate with small, multidisciplinary teams to develop backend features • Support live events and ensure server resources are optimized for expected traffic • Learn, champion, and build upon Medusa, the backend framework • Work closely with backend and platform teams to improve practices and processes

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience developing secure, scalable web applications in Node.js • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and services, including Firebase • Familiarity with multiplayer and asynchronous concepts • Experience designing and implementing maintainable and scalable database schemas • Strong time management and communication skills • Ability to work independently and carry a project
