Description
• Aescape is a first-of-its-kind lifestyle robotics company bringing people and robotics together for better living.• Seeking a Staff or Principal level systems software engineer to join Robotics Platform team.• Designing and executing services and infrastructure to support platform needs, including state management, system communication, performance, networking, system bringup, remote diagnostics, logging and messaging.• Collaborating cross functionally to define engineering requirements and dependencies.• Providing high-quality massages with technical challenges in control algorithms, sensor fusion, and motion planning.• Collaborating with a diverse team to build products that change and improve lives of members and partners.
Requirements
• 5 or more years hands-on experience in software engineering on a production level product.• Experience with networking such as MQTT and other IoT protocols.• Experience with performance and optimization on a distributed system, preferable with RTOS.• Experience building distributed fault-tolerant services.• Strong programming skills in modern C++ and Object-oriented design patterns.• Fluency in modern C++ and Object-oriented design patterns in modern or embedded Linux environment (Ubuntu, Yocto, etc).• Experience with service-oriented architectures.• Experience with cloud infrastructure – AWS, GCP, or Azure.• Experience with System Administration.• Strong, proactive communication.• Additional experience with Python and/or Golang, Hardware in the loop testing support, and ROS in drones, autonomous cars or medical device robots.
