Description

• Generate revenue for a portfolio of AIChE advertising options by generating new leads, adding opportunities to the sales pipeline and closing sales. • Maintain and expand business with current AIChE advertisers • Identify and prospect new companies and market segments to advertise • Seek opportunities to develop new advertising products that increase revenue at AIChE • Coordinate the delivery of advertising with CEP staff and others at AIChE • Collaborate with AIChE staff to leverage existing relationships • Strengthen and develop relationships with existing and potential customers • Proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships with all departments • Increase Recruitment revenue, which includes the AIChE job board, CEP classified advertising the Annual Student Conference career fair and other conference career fairs • Additional assigned work as determined by Associate Director of Sales

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years proven sales experience as sales representative in media sales • Experience with or knowledge of print and digital ad sales is desirable • Must have previous research and cold calling experience and strong closing skills • Ability to research and generate potential sales leads • Proven track record in selling high-end solutions and products to key decision makers • Strong organizational skills and a self-starter • Ability to build strong client relationships through active listening and consultative sales • Ability to write strategic, integrated proposals for advertisers • Aggressive, goal-oriented individual who can work independently and must possess superior people skills • Strong computer skills and familiarity with the following programs (Microsoft Office, Salesforce)
