Description

• Collaborate with engineering team to design, deploy, and improve infrastructure. • Enhance developer productivity and ensure product reliability. • Focus on providing infrastructure, tooling, and expertise needed to ship high quality products. • Develop best practices for managing production infrastructure and developer processes. • Continuously improve engineering excellence through best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. • Build and maintain documentation around process and workflows.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer (E.g., Backend Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, Production Engineer, Platform Engineer). • Experience designing and operating large-scale, multi-region production systems. • Experience working with AWS or other cloud infrastructures. • Experience with container schedules and runtimes such as Docker and Kubernetes. • Experience building deployment pipelines leveraging common CI/CD tools (e.g. Argo, Flux, Gitops). • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform, Pulumi, Chef, Puppet, etc). • Experience with networking and configuring / managing VPC networks. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • (Preferred) Experience with running production services on bare-metal. • (Preferred) Experience with Typescript and Python. • (Preferred) Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog. • (Preferred) Excellent understanding of web applications and architecture.
