Description
• Design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure of the platform • Spend 25-30% of your time coaching and mentoring other engineers • Develop infrastructure and processes for production monitoring • Develop load testing frameworks for system performance prediction as volume increases • Proactively re-architect key system components to prevent system bottlenecks • Develop and implement compliance requirements like HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC2 • Debug complex issues that may arise throughout the stack • Hold the codebase to a high standard, and assist in developing engineering processes • Coach and develop mid-level engineers on the team
Requirements
• 6+ years experience in software engineering • Knowledge in distributed systems architecture and key trade-offs • Extensive experience building and evolving systems that meet production SLAs • Comfortable on modern technology stack • Excited to lead an ambitious, mission-aligned team • Enjoy coaching and mentoring others • Valued being a supportive teammate • Thrive in environments with high levels of complexity, uncertainty, and ambiguity.
