Description

• Overseeing the implementation of cloud/AI/ML capabilities. • Managing workload migrations and ensuring security and operational efficiency of the cloud platform. • Collaborating with NOAA stakeholders to prioritize efforts, resources, and deliver cloud services.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project management, preferably in cloud engineering, AI/ML development, and cloud operations. • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar. • Strong understanding of security controls and compliance requirements. • Understanding of cloud infrastructure budgeting and financial management (i.e., Google Cloud pricing calculator) • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to document technical processes clearly and concisely. • Experience working with government agencies or in a regulated environment. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent desired. • Experience with data governance frameworks and best practices.
