Description

• Reporting to the General Counsel, the Paralegal will play a crucial role in contract management, corporate governance, structured finance facility compliance, and supporting real estate transactions related to the development and operation of distributed battery energy storage projects. • The Paralegal will work closely with our legal team, development team, and external counsel negotiating and conducting due diligence for various corporate, real estate and transactional matters. • The ideal candidate will be familiar with the intricacies of corporate, finance and commercial real estate transactions, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and paralegal certification. • Notary Public in New York State. • Proven experience as a real estate and corporate paralegal, preferably in renewable energy or commercial real estate development. • Familiarity with real estate transaction processes, including due diligence and title clearance. • Experience with contract management and maintenance of contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform(s). • Proficiency in legal research tools, document management systems. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in assisting with legal research and document drafting. • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
