• Design, deploy, and maintain reliable, secure, scalable, and extensible big data systems that support core products and business • Design, develop, test, document, and implement strategies, automation, and solutions for Attentive’s production data services that encode best practices so all engineering teams can develop with confidence in the stability of our data • Use your familiarity with DevOps methodologies and practices to foster a culture of quality while facilitating developer velocity • Leverage technical expertise to support a culture of peer design, code reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Infrastructure Engineer or in similar roles like Platform Engineer, SRE, DevOps, or Backend Engineer with a data storage focus • Experience managing and operating data platform technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, OpenSearch, Kafka, Druid, Trino, OpenMetadata, and Redis • Experience managing, operating, and implementing cloud infrastructure best practices at scale with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Datadog. Familiarity with general cloud computing concepts around access control and instance management • You can solve complicated technical problems and analyze trade-offs with empathy for your developer peers and a collaborative approach • Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery strategies in a cloud environment and experience with monitoring and logging tools.
