Description

• Take ownership of invoicing, receivable, and collection process. • Manage vendor and payment process. • Assist with day-to-day accounting and balance sheet reconciliation. • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities. • Perform daily and monthly treasury tasks (i.e., weekly payment runs, manual wire payments, posting of manual payments to the general ledger, daily cash reconciliation, and other treasury tasks as needed). • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status. • Participate in financial standards setting. • Support month-end and year-end close process. • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, finance operations, and financial reporting. • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or relevant; MBA or CPA is a plus. • Experience with software and technology companies necessary, including SaaS and/or recurring revenue financials and common SaaS metrics. • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures, understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and familiarity with financial accounting statements. • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process. • Knowledge of financial modeling (i.e., Excel) and experience with NetSuite or other financial or budgeting systems. • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently towards goals. • Excellent communication, accuracy, attention to detail, and the aptitude for numbers of quantitative skills.
