Description

• BBR Partners is searching for a Data Engineer to join our Data Solutions team. • Serve as a technical resource for researchers, analysts, and operations teams. • Organize, understand and simplify large quantities of data. • Identify improvements to data tooling, data quality, reliability, and opportunities to innovate with data. • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high attention to detail.

Requirements

• Experience using Python for data automation/ETL automation (e.g. Pandas, git, SQL, Airflow/Prefect/Dagster). • Experience with *nix and Bash. • At least 1 year experience in investment management, market data, financial services, or fintech. • Excellent quantitative, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. • High level of attention to detail. • Ability to work with a fair degree of autonomy and demonstrate tremendous initiative and sense of personal accountability. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across the full spectrum of internal stakeholders. • Intellectually curious out-of-the-box thinker who is passionate about brainstorming innovative ways to use data to solve business problems. • Demonstrates unquestioned ethics and credibility and strives to exemplify the highest ethical standards. • Experience working with and delivering data visualization and reporting using enterprise tooling (e.g. Sigma, Tableau, Power-BI) (Preferred).
