Description
• The Bridgewater Security program is building a world-class security data platform to defend its networks – this role will be hands-on, leading the effort to do so. • Our Data Engineering team is looking to hire a Staff Data Engineer that has a passion for delivering high quality data products. The Staff Data Engineer will be responsible for building and operating a data lakehouse that delivers cutting-edge security operation capabilities.
Requirements
• A B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience • 5+ years experience designing, building and maintaining ETL pipelines • 5+ years experience delivering data products • 3+ years experience with Spark • 3+ years of experience in software development including Python, SQL, Scala or Java • 2+ years of experience working with cloud providers such as AWS or Azure • Strategic thinker and problem solver with excellent analytical and reporting skills • Strong oral and written competency, along with outstanding interpersonal skills • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and deliver on programs and projects
