• Review program files for compliance with programmatic standards • Compare files against program standards to verify completeness and accuracy • Prepare documentation reports for management use • Keep track of received data and source documents • Prepare and sort documents and files • Review client files to ensure quality of data and completeness • Flag files for follow-up • Contact preparers of documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data • Enter data from documents into electronic file system and databases • Compare data entered with source documents to detect errors • Compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data entered • Close cases as per procedure • Prepare managerial and funder reports based on approved templates • Tasks may be modified, expanded and assigned over time
• High school diploma or G.E.D. and one year of applicable experience • Knowledge of issues surrounding housing and homelessness • Professionalism and understanding of confidentiality • Attention to detail in written and verbal communication • Proficient experience using Microsoft Office software and databases • Ability to adapt to changing demands and learn on the job • Knowledge and experience with New York City Housing and Public Assistance Systems
• Part-time position (25 hours per week) • Compensation: $25 per hour
