Description

• The Strategic Communications Team Lead plays a critical role in our major federal S/4HANA implementation program. • This position requires a seasoned communications professional with at least 6 years of experience in developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies within a federal context. • The Strategic Communications Team Lead will be responsible for creating and delivering clear, concise, and impactful communications across multiple platforms, including written communications, briefings, social media, and marketing materials. • This role involves coordinating communications with key stakeholders at all levels, from senior leadership to mid and lower-level leadership, ensuring that the program’s objectives and progress are effectively communicated and understood.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance • BA/BS degree in related field • At least 3 years of experience in strategic communications, with a focus on federal programs, knowledge of federal government operations and communication protocols is essential • Proven track record in developing and executing communication strategies that drive stakeholder engagement and program success • Experience coordinating communications efforts in large-scale IT implementation programs, preferably involving SAP S/4HANA • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and compelling content for diverse audiences • Proficiency in using social media platforms and tools to enhance program visibility and stakeholder engagement • Ability to manage content development processes involving multiple contributors and subject matter experts • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and the ability to manage communications within an agile context • Ability to adapt communication strategies to support the dynamic nature of agile program management • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels • Experience in delivering high-stakes presentations and briefings to senior leadership • Must be highly organized, proactive, and capable of driving results in a complex, fast-paced environment • This project is primarily remote, applicants local to the National Capital Region will have access to clients in the region • Strong understanding of change management principles and their application in large-scale IT programs
