• Building and leading the Product Marketing function • Developing highly impactful positioning for Chainguard’s products in the market • Leading and managing key go-to-market initiatives to enter new markets and launch new innovative products • Owning pricing strategy to align with market demand and business objectives • Managing the business value assessment (BVA) process for prospects and customers • Collaborating with product management and engineering to influence and lead communication around product vision and strategy • Managing and mentoring an existing team of Product Marketing Managers (PMMs), and expanding the team by attracting and retaining top talent • Building a repeatable sales enablement engine in close partnership with the enablement team by aligning PMM activities with enablement needs and goals
• Proven experience in product marketing leadership within a B2B technology environment, preferably with exposure to open source software, enterprise security, and technical audiences • A track record of successfully leading go-to-market strategies, product launches, and market entry initiatives • Deep understanding of pricing strategies and experience in managing pricing and packaging changes • Strong leadership qualities with experience managing and growing a team of marketing professionals • Excellent collaboration skills, with a history of working effectively across product management, engineering, marketing and sales teams • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment, maintaining a balance between strategic vision and hands-on execution
