Description

• Architect and build data pipelines and analytics platforms that support Securities Finance businesses • Work closely with stakeholders to deliver products solving real-world business problems • Mentor teammates, define engineering standards, drive system design approach • Own systems end-to-end, including support and ongoing improvements • Develop a deep understanding of the business domain

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • 7+ years of experience designing and architecting systems that deliver solutions to complex data problems • Hands-on experience with ETL toolchains e.g. Argo, Apache Airflow • Data modeling pro with understanding of unifying data types • SQL guru • Extensive experience with relational databases like Postgres, distributed systems, and streaming data • Bonus Points: Experience with big data tools e.g. Snowflake, Apache Spark, Flink, Athena etc • Experience in the Securities Finance domain • Prior experience going from zero to one (building and rolling out a new product) • Experience with AWS / cloud-native tooling • Understanding of Docker and container orchestration
