Description

• The Finance Manager role focuses on providing a variety of financial planning and analysis services to clients across Propeller’s portfolio of early-stage startup companies • Collaborate with Propeller senior finance leaders • Analyze business, build detailed financial operating models, improve forecasting, refine financial reporting, and optimize strategic decision-making

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 to 6 years in finance-focused roles such as: • 2+ years in investment banking and/or consulting • 2+ years focused on FP&A and/or strategic finance in-house at a technology or high-growth company • Great team player and work ethic • Superior financial modeling and presentation skills • Deep understanding of financial principles and expanding knowledge of accounting principles • Ability to build complex 3 statement financial forecasts and provide in depth variance analysis and insights to inform business decisions • Comfort with data and ambiguity, and an ability to delve into details and adapt priorities on the fly • Good communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations to Propeller team as well as our clients • Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple client workstreams and respond to ad-hoc requests to support business decisions in timely and efficient manner • Ability and desire to teach others within the organization to help grow the broader internal FP&A skill set
