Description

• The Development team works closely with volunteers and colleagues to secure philanthropic resources • Responsible for the day-to-day management of a major fundraising campaign • Develop a strategy for the use of campaign cultivation events

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required; relevant advanced degree is beneficial • At least 11 years of professional experience in the field in positions of increasing responsibility • At least 2-3 of those years must have been directing a team or multiple projects or a function • Demonstrated success in individual, including significant experience with portfolio management required • Documented success in the preparation of six and seven-figure grant and sponsorship proposals • Experience working with executive leadership and volunteer boards/committees preferred • Proficiency with CRM systems, MSOffice, and Internet required • Ability to think strategically and contextually, and to anticipate the needs and expectations of executive leaders • Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple, concurrent tasks, exhibit flexibility, and meet deadlines • Acts with tact and discretion, respecting confidentiality and proprietary information • Superb verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Possesses a passion for the work of the Foundation and its mission
