• Club Monaco is looking for a skilled Junior Copywriter to craft product, site, email, social and other brand marketing copy for our brand. • This position reports to the Copy Manager and will work cross-functionally with creative, design, production and merchandise teams to conceive and execute brand copy across multiple platforms. • The Junior Copywriter thrives in a fast-paced environment, is hands-on, creative, detail-oriented and passionate about storytelling. • This will be an important supportive role in shaping Club Monaco’s copy, ensuring we’re crafting cohesive and compelling messaging that engages, grows and retains our customer base. • The Junior Copywriter should ensure accuracy and consistency across copy while working at every turn to position Club Monaco as a sophisticated, modern luxury brand. • This is an entry-level role, and candidates must be comfortable with administrative work in addition to regular duties. • Highly collaborative individuals who love and seek valuable stakeholder feedback will succeed in this role.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or Marketing preferred • 2-3 years professional writing experience in Journalism, Fashion, Marketing, or E-commerce; PDP copywriting preferred • Experience in luxury or contemporary fashion essential, plus a working knowledge of the industry and current trends • Elevated taste level • Knowledge of textiles, fabric treatments, silhouettes and fits • Ability to take the initiative to research, grasp and bring the brand voice to life • Familiarity working within a CMS; Monday.com, Shopify and BazaarVoice preferred • Solid understanding of best copy practices including AP Style or the Chicago Manual of Style as well as a general knowledge of marketing and advertising principles • A natural ability to collaborate well with others and use feedback to improve copy • Ability to troubleshoot, be solution-oriented and manage through ambiguity • Resourceful self-starter with a can-do attitude who strives to see results and reach goals • Strong planning, project management, and interpersonal skills • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple projects and priorities • Please provide writing samples of fashion product descriptions, emails, banner ads, social media content, and other relevant materials in your portfolio
