Description
• Maximize the velocity for the product engineering team • Influence design and implementation of all aspects of the product • Hold a high bar for quality, discipline, and organization of the underlying infrastructure • Evangelize, advocate, lead and promote best practices • Evaluate and integrate critical third-party software and infrastructure • Shape the engineering culture of the company • Balance product velocity demand with well-managed platform
Requirements
• 7+ years experience working with first-class engineering teams • Proficient in at least one language ecosystem (Python, Ruby, Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go) • Experience with Terraform/CloudFormation/Pulumi/CDK • Deep hands-on knowledge developing in the cloud with container management solutions • Ability to research, design, and implement solutions independently • Owner mindset for infrastructure improvements • Thought-leader in industry trends • Clear philosophy for structuring cloud infrastructure
