Description
• Build the next generation of tax preparation software • Work on Ruby on Rails backend, React frontend with Typescript, Chakra • Participate across teams and suggest solutions • Collaborate with engineers, tax analysts, product, and design teams • Own projects and shape product roadmap • Develop tools and frameworks for efficient tax coverage • Extend APIs for partners • Create UI for embedded tax platform • Onboarding process in Week 1, leading projects in Month 1, scoping large projects in Month 3 • Opportunity to showcase skills through take-home assignment and virtual onsite interview • Emphasis on diversity, inclusivity, and authenticity in the workplace
Requirements
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience or related role • Strong desire to lead projects • Track record of learning new languages, technologies, patterns • Comfortable working across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
