Description

•Manage and maintain Ubuntu servers and Azure cloud infrastructure •Utilize Ansible for automation and streamlining operations •Monitor server performance and implement optimizations •Oversee Azure cloud infrastructure and ensure resource efficiency •Maintain data centers with Proxmox clusters •Administer MariaDB databases and Maxscale for load balancing •Implement security measures and ensure compliance with regulations •Design and manage data backup and recovery processes •Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation •Provide troubleshooting support and respond to incidents

Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) •Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, preferably in a Linux environment •Strong knowledge of Ubuntu servers, including installation, configuration, and administration •Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking •Familiarity with Proxmox clusters in a datacenter environment •Proficiency with Ansible for automation and configuration management •Experience with MariaDB/Maxscale administration •Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, and troubleshooting •Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and system monitoring •Experience with security practices and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability assessments •Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively, both independently and collaboratively •Relevant certifications (e.g., Red Hat Certified Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus •Experience with PowerShell, related to Azure IaaS administration
