• Talent is our most important asset. • The People Team is seeking an organized and proactive Human Resources (HR) Manager. • This position requires a minimum of three (3) days in-person. • Manage our HRIS database, and respond to employee inquiries. • Cultivate culture and implement our organizational mission rooted in Anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice.
Requirements
• At least two years professional work experience in HR preferred; professional or relevant experience displaying an interest in HR, operations, and/or project management. • HRIS experience required, Paylocity preferred. • Bachelor's degree required. • Passion for education and a dedication to Coney Island Prep’s mission, beliefs, and values and its commitment to anti-racism. • Steadfast belief that all scholars can achieve at the highest academic levels and deserve an opportunity to succeed in the college and career of their choice. • Proven organizational, oral, and written communication skills; timeliness; accuracy; and consistent and regular communication; and ability to meet deadlines. • Self-reflective and open to feedback, with the ambition and desire to grow and develop. • A positive, solutions-oriented attitude and drive for excellence. • Eagerness to work collaboratively as part of a team. • Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with vendors, staff, scholars and their families while demonstrating value of diversity and inclusivity.
