Description

• Record day-to-day financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments into the accounting software or ledger system. • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely collection of receivables and payment of liabilities. • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis. • Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations. • Assist in the preparation of financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. • Provide support during tax preparation and audits by maintaining accurate records and documentation. • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding financial records and reporting. • Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) proficiently to manage financial transactions and generate reports. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations. • Maintain office supplies inventory and ensure proper functioning of office equipment. Coordinate with vendors for repairs and maintenance as needed. • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This includes handling correspondence, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, and preparing reports and presentations. • Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role minimum experience is 5 years. • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices. • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel). • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred) or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper).
