Description

• Develop perceptual features for immersive MR/AR experiences by modeling human perception • Establish camera and display image quality metrics for MR/AR benchmarking • Create a platform for objective and subjective psychophysical studies to evaluate virtual object rendering in MR/AR applications • Research and develop computer vision and machine learning algorithms for light estimation and virtual object rendering

Requirements

• MS/PhD degree in computer science, electrical engineering, imaging science, color science, biology, cognitive science or a related field • Strong background in color science and imaging science • Proficient in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, C#, and C++ • Strong background in user experience, machine learning, computer vision, VR & AR • Knowledgeable in data analysis and signal processing • Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams • Strong understanding of image processing, HDR imaging, image segmentation, depth estimation, human color perception, AR/VR rendering, computer vision and machine learning is desirable*
