• Join a top firm in its national management-side labor and employment practice located in New York, NY • Engage in complex legal matters related to labor and employment law, with a focus on accessibility and disability accommodation laws/regulations • Handle litigations, investigations, advocacy group interactions, compliance counseling, policies, and training • Provide general employment litigation support • Handle various aspects of litigation such as interviewing witnesses, drafting pleadings and various motions and briefs, conducting and defending depositions, interacting with clients and opposing counsel, and attending court appearances
• Minimum of three full years of experience in labor and employment law • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school • Admission to practice law in New York (state and federal courts) • Strong academic credentials and excellent communication and writing skills • Demonstrated experience in accessibility and disability accommodation laws/regulations, including Title III of the ADA • Familiarity with public accommodation accessibility issues for both brick-and-mortar and digital entities • Experience with accessibility auditing and/or managing outside auditors is a bonus
