Description

• Provide expertise and leadership in the areas of data management, governance, AI, and modeling. • Drive and define our future roadmap as we continue to grow in the insurance industry. • Own and manage the data warehouse with a strategy that will provide consistent, clean, and integrated data. • Navigate unstructured and big data; determine its format, security, ownership, and quality. • Define the roadmap for AI, being a thought leader in this space. • Provide business intelligence to senior leaders, internal/external stakeholders, and have direct vendor management oversight. • Proactively identify pain points that Analytics & Actuarial face with our existing data models and provide solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Commercial Insurance required • 5+ years leadership experience managing and mentoring a data team • Expert knowledge using Azure Cloud, SQL, Azure Data Lake, and Power BI • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Systems Analytics, or extensive relative experience in a similar role • Proven oversight of data modeling and establishing performance metrics • Ability to think strategically and can demonstrate an understanding of the underlying complexities within data strategy • Advanced data management, quality assurance and data stewardship • Highly collaborative, practical problem solver, and roll up your sleeves attitude • Flexible and adaptable to drive change and implement new solutions.
