Description

• Serve as lead accountant for client businesses and oversee client team • Ownership of client accounting process to generate insightful financial reporting • Responsible for monthly financial close, KPI measurement & management/board reporting • Lead monthly client meetings and provide compelling insights for client business owners • Monitor client maturity and company goals to ensure services remain relevant • Oversee compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements • Manage client accounting processes and technology • Lead cash flow, budget & scenario planning • Contribute to strategic projects • Support growth of other team members via management • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience revamping accounting, finance, and operational processes and technologies • Strong QuickBooks Online experience required, Xero, Intacct & NetSuite are a plus • Strong understanding of KPIs • Exceptionally strong Google Sheet/Microsoft Excel GAAP-compliant financial modeling • Firm grasp on sales tax liability management • Proven analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, decision-making & project management skills • Ability to work at a high level of intensity and fast pace • Flexible with ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining detail orientation • Maintain positive, solutions-focused attitude • Ability to keep information confidential • Excellent customer service skills • Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting • Ability to manage and balance multiple priorities effectively • Excellent written/verbal communication and collaboration skills • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, CPA preferred • Experience: 10 years as a Controller to Director of Finance level in SaaS firm
