• The Innovation Industries department oversees real estate and capital projects, financial incentives, government wayfinding and regulatory reform • We are industry ambassadors engaging with private sector, philanthropic, government, NGO, and academia leadership to understand the rapidly changing landscape of NYC’s key growth sectors • Initially reporting to the VP of the Emerging Tech team, the PM will support established and emerging projects with research and ideation, strategy development, procurement, launch, ongoing oversight and closeout • PMs coordinate cross-functional project teams, communicating with multiple internal and external stakeholders, both public and private
• Undergraduate degree required, advanced degree in tech, life sciences, the green economy, or a creative industry preferred • 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant field such as corporate business development, investment banking, or management consulting • Demonstrated proficiency with industry research, project management, and financial analysis • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including public speaking • Keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing needs and opportunities • Highly analytical and strategic thinker, with a proven ability to creatively navigate and solve complex challenges • Proactive “self-starter” and “team player” who is enterprising and resourceful, organized and results-oriented • Must obtain/maintain New York City residency within 180 days of hire
