Description
• Migrate components of our existing modeling frameworks from batch-oriented to continuous training and monitoring • Diagnose issues with legacy models and pipelines and decide what to maintain as-is, what to rebuild, and what to replace with alternatives • Expand our collection of internal modeling building blocks • Lead large, high-priority, cross-functional, strategic projects, driving multiple decisions that have significant impact
Requirements
• Experience with MLOps, especially with continuous model training and monitoring • 4-6 years of overall development experience • 3+ years of Python experience writing clean, reusable code used by Data Scientists or deployed in production systems • Proficiency with analytic queries in SQL and relational databases (we primarily use Snowflake), with experience interfacing directly with databases from Python (we leverage SQLAlchemy Core heavily) • Expert level experience with a variety of modeling techniques, preferably both more traditional methods like GBMs and regressions plus some experience with deep neural networks
