• Lead network growth and expansion of inclusive learning structures and practices • Translate academic visions into differentiated learning models • Coach school-based Directors of Inclusive Learning • Coordinate external partnerships for maximizing learning time • Ensure compliance in schools.
• High professional and ethical standards • Experience researching best practices in anti-racist and inclusive pedagogy • Experience working with diverse populations • Ability to build systems and manage projects • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, highly organized • Ability to take ownership of strategic initiative • Proven skills in school leadership positions • Ability to motivate diverse stakeholders • Maturity, humility, strong work ethic • Minimum of three years management at district/network level or five years at school-based level focusing on special education • Track record of moving student achievement for IEPs and MLLs • Strong professional development leader • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Special Education or related field preferred • Appropriate NYS certifications in Special Education • Familiarity with NY City, State, and Federal policy regarding students with disabilities.
