Description
• We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer (primarily front-end focused with reasonable experience in cloud infrastructure & microservice architecture concepts) to join the Deployment Automation team within the Developer Lifecycle organization in our Core Infrastructure group. • Deployment Automation creates and supports service deployment and deployment observability mechanisms, using UI-based tools, infrastructure-as-code, libraries, and other tools.
Requirements
• Good experience with software development, with focus on front end development • Good experience with programming languages (such as Typescript/Javascript, Python, Go, etc), frameworks (such as React, Next.js), and CSS frameworks (such Bootstrap, Foundation, Tailwind) • Good experience with software development patterns, such as MVC & the backend-for-front-end • Familiarity with cloud-based architectures (preferably on AWS) and infrastructure-as-code (such as Terraform) • Familiarity with deployment pipelines such as Buildkite, GitHub Actions, etc. • Familiarity with API design patterns, such as GraphQL and/or OpenAPI • Familiarity with design tooling such as Figma and software development tools such as VSCode, Postman, etc • Experience with delivering programs and projects via tools like Jira • Strong verbal and written communication skills
