Description
• Complete period-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and flux variance analysis for management reporting. • Own Debt, Equity and Lease Accounting. • Ensure GL reporting and Netsuite is up to date to support ongoing/new reporting requirements. • Participate in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages and financial statements in accordance with investors’ requirements and GAAP. • Support continuous process improvement projects and drive implementation. • Assist in external auditors’ requests, including preparing supporting schedules, answering auditors’ inquiries, financial statement preparation and memo writing. • Assist in documenting financial and accounting closing processes and implementing internal controls. • Perform special, ad-hoc projects as requested.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field. • 3-5+ years of General Ledger accounting experience with a solid understanding of US GAAP. • Public accounting experience. • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and Word/Google Docs. • NetSuite and FloQast experience is preferred. • Ability to navigate a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and challenging deadlines. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong written, oral communication, analytical and interpersonal skills. • High attention to detail with the ability to keep the big picture in mind. • Experience working in a fast paced PE or VC backed organization.
