β’ Lead financial due diligence for potential acquisitions or partnerships, assessing financial viability and synergy potential. Drive post-M&A integration efforts to achieve seamless financial and operational alignment. β’ Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements. Stay informed about industry trends and changes in financial regulations, adapting the company's financial strategies accordingly. β’ Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, data transparency, professional development, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on financial matters, fostering a strong sense of financial literacy across the organization.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred. β’ Proven track record of success as a CFO in high-growth PLG or SaaS company, with experience in Series B or later funding stages, is required. β’ Strong understanding of SaaS business models, subscription-based revenue recognition, and recurring revenue streams. β’ Experience with GTM finance and management β’ Exceptional financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting skills. β’ Demonstrated ability to drive strategic financial initiatives and contribute to overall business strategy. β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to diverse audiences. β’ Prior experience with investor relations and fundraising required. β’ Proficiency in financial software and systems, as well as advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
