Description

• Develop, validate, and maintain mathematical models and algorithms for optimizing supply chain operations. • Design and implement optimization and simulation tools to solve complex supply chain problems. • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. • Collaborate with software developers to integrate models into the supply chain software platform. • Work with customer support to troubleshoot optimization models and algorithms issues. • Stay updated on advancements in operations research and propose improvements. • Prepare detailed technical documentation for models and algorithms. • Lead or participate in project teams to ensure deliverables are met on time and within scope.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in operations research, optimization, or a related role, preferably within the supply chain or logistics domain. • Proficiency in mathematical modeling and optimization techniques (e.g., linear programming, integer programming, stochastic modeling). • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java. • Experience with optimization solvers (e.g., Gurobi, CPLEX) and simulation tools. • Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices. • Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to analyze complex systems and datasets. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies. • Experience with machine learning techniques applied to supply chain problems is preferred. • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and big data technologies is preferred. • Experience in the software development lifecycle, including version control and agile methodologies is preferred.
