Description
• Transform event data into user-friendly datasets to power user funnel visualizations, session-level metrics, and A/B testing • Be the team expert on server-side event tracking and telemetry, including working with product and engineering teams to ensure we instrument our product to capture the right data • Own the definitions and contracts for events data and pipelines • Develop reverse ETL pipelines for marketing, sales, and customer success tools • Serve as an architect for our dbt project and analytics stack as a whole
Requirements
• 4+ years of experience with at least two building data pipelines and working with data technologies • Expert proficiency in SQL • Experience with event streaming or real-time data technologies is a plus (open source or vendor) • Familiarity with the tools in our stack (Segment, Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Airflow) is preferred • A naturally inquisitive, critical thinker, who enjoys and is effective at solving problems • A demonstrated self-starter with strong communication and project management skills
