Description

• Create, improve, and maintain tax plans, compliance procedures, and risk assessment frameworks to ensure effective tax management. • Collaborate with finance and accounting team members to ensure our tax strategies and policies are implemented accurately per national and international tax compliances. • Identify, track, and report any potential financial risks or issues and work closely with the accounting teams to implement appropriate solutions. • Conduct a thorough analysis of taxes to provide expert advice on tax planning and optimization opportunities to ensure compliance with national and international regulations. • Coordinate and manage tax audits, inquiries, and notices from tax authorities. • Maintain documentation and records related to tax filings, provision, and other tax-related activities. • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on financial issues, including tax implications of business decisions and transactions. • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and proactively identify potential risks or opportunities for the organization. • Foster a culture of tax compliance and awareness throughout the organization, providing training and support as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate taxation. • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. • Proven ability to develop and implement tax strategies that align with business objectives. • Proficiency in financial systems, such as Netsuite and PowerBI.
