Description
• Design, build, and test compliant payroll foundation • Help scale one of the largest Ruby/Rails and TypeScript/React applications • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ambiguous problems • Mentor and grow fellow engineers • Drive product development process from concept to launch • Continuously stay up-to-date with advancements in AI and Machine Learning • Engage in a highly supportive environment • Improve team productivity and happiness with tools and APIs built
Requirements
• Successful applicants typically have at least 15 years of experience • Experience influencing/guiding the work of multiple teams on projects • Experience architecting, building, and testing large-scale distributed systems • Experience as a technical lead overseeing projects • Ability to communicate technical complexity and help facilitate informed tradeoffs • Enthusiasm for a collaborative, test-driven environment • Experience in HR, Payroll, Payments, Fintech, Tax products, AI/Machine Learning a plus
Benefits
• Cash compensation range: $215,000/yr - $239,000/yr in Denver & most remote locations, $250,000/yr - $280,000/yr in San Francisco & New York • Stock equity additional • Final offer amounts vary based on candidate experience and expertise
