• Gusto is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Technical Architect to join our BizTech Salesforce Team. • This senior-level role is pivotal in optimizing our Salesforce implementation, ensuring scalability, and leading the team in building robust solutions. • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable Salesforce solutions. • Provide technical guidance and architectural oversight for the Salesforce platform. • Streamline the DevOps process, enhancing continuous integration and delivery pipelines. • Review and optimize existing code for performance, maintainability, and scalability. • Implement best practices for coding standards and development processes. • Ensure all solutions are built with scalability and future growth in mind. • Conduct comprehensive code reviews to maintain high code quality and ensure adherence to best practices. • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for all solutions. • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. • Implement robust security practices to safeguard data and ensure compliance with industry standards. • Manage and optimize integrations with other business systems and third-party applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience. • 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Architect. • Extensive experience with Salesforce development using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (LWC), and SOQL. • Proven experience with Salesforce DevOps practices, including CI/CD. • Strong understanding of when to use code vs. declarative (flows) solutions. • Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (LWC) • Salesforce integration tools (MuleSoft, Workato, Heroku) • Data modeling and management • Salesforce security and governance (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules) • DevOps and Release Management • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce API and integration patterns • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA). • Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect (Preferred). • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills. • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. • Experience in the HR and payroll domain. • Familiarity with agile development methodologies. • Knowledge of modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web Components. • Certified Scrum Master or Certified Product Owner.
