Description

• Work directly on the technology stack that enables customers to discover startups • Own the API layer and help improve its performance, observability and developer productivity • Guide the current team on designing systems from the frontend to the backend • Improve the team's effectiveness through the use of new technology and streamlining processes • Lead the design of GraphQL API layer and identify bottlenecks • Contribute to search infrastructure • Identify core issues in frontend code and ensure support for high-velocity feature development • Mentor existing engineers • Finding ways to help us be more customer-obsessed

Requirements

• Track record of building highly performant, highly observable, and highly scalable systems • 5+ years of experience building scalable frontend and backend systems • Able to work across disciplines with minimum process • Have experience taking the lead in planning and executing the development roadmap for software projects • 2+ years of experience in an early-stage startup (preferred) • Experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs on top of large data sources (preferred) • Experience implementing web applications that manage large amounts of data (preferred) • Obsessed about your craft and share your knowledge (preferred) • Experience working in Python/strongly typed languages (preferred) • Pay $150k-$220k Salary + Equity depending on level
