• Oversee daily operations of programs while maintaining a warm, challenging and nurturing environment • Responsible for programming, safety, staffing, and administrative tasks • Facilitate ongoing activities and family engagements for the year-round program
• A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, or other related field • Master’s Degree preferred • Minimum of two years’ experience working in an after school and/or camp setting for middle school aged youth • Significant experience in program planning, administration, monitoring and evaluation • Strong organizational, communication and supervisory skills • Significant experience in city, state and federal contract management • Have extensive knowledge of age appropriate skill development strategies for students • Experience working with youth from diverse backgrounds with a variety of academic/skill levels • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs • Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
