Description

• Design, build, and optimize core systems that power the Instabase platform. • Define the technical direction, develop scalable infrastructure, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent experience in a technical field such as Physics or Mathematics. • 5+ years of professional software development experience with a solid foundation in CS fundamentals and expertise in at least one area. • Proven track record of leading and delivering large-scale projects, collaborating across engineering and cross-functional teams. • Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure). • Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to represent customer perspectives in technical decision-making processes. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to set high technical and cultural standards for your team. • Demonstrated ability to lead by example, mentoring and guiding junior engineers while remaining hands-on with the code.
