Description
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annually compiled financial statements for multiple small business clients. • Manage and maintain financial records for multiple clients concurrently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Assist clients with accounting, payroll, and basic software issues, providing professional guidance and solutions to their challenges. • Take part in new client onboarding processes, which may include catch up/clean up of financial records, developing new accounting processes, and setting up new tools for clients. • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients by communicating clearly, professionally, and offering excellent customer service. • Collaborate effectively with the account manager and other team members to ensure client satisfaction and successful outcomes.
Requirements
• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred, but not required to apply • 1-3 years’ experience preferred, but not required to apply • A strong knowledge of QuickBooks is required, QBO preferred. Certifications in Desktop or Online preferred, if not obtained the desire to obtain is required. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook) • Must be technically savvy with the ability to adapt to ever-changing technologies and learn functionality of new equipment and systems • Effective and timely communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships. • A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving, always seeking to improve processes and deliver exceptional service. • Proven experience as a Staff Accountant, preferably within a CPA firm or similar environment.
