Description
• Build scalable ML systems for mineral exploration projects • Collaborate with data scientists and geologists to tackle complex scientific problems • Architect and maintain scientific computing libraries for large-scale geospatial rasters • Develop models for predicting compositional anomalies within the Earth's crust • Improve the modern scientific computing stack for mineral exploration
Requirements
• At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer, data scientist, or ML engineer • Track record of building production quality data processing solutions • Proficiency in Python, statistical and deep learning approaches • Experience scaling complex data operations with tools like Spark or Dask • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders • Drive to increase velocity and effectiveness of data scientists • Capacity to solve novel problems in ML for mineral exploration • Experience with multispectral remote-sensing data
