• Responsible for sharing Understood's story with employees. • Own employee communications channel strategy and content development. • Develop and regularly update messaging architecture for clarity in mission and strategy. • Maintain and share the organization’s employee-communications calendar. • Work with the Content Team to create materials supporting internal communications. • Work cross-functionally to produce employee-facing events to grow commitment to the mission. • Establish capabilities to measure impact of communications for insights and recommendations.
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience with a focus on internal communications. • Confidence in building communications strategies and gaining buy-in from leaders. • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. • Experience developing creative concepts and working with content design and development partners. • Demonstrated ability to create compelling presentations. • Successful history of leading the development and execution of employee events. • A proven track record of working across matrixed teams to drive projects to completion. • Familiarity with optimizing tech platforms used in publishing and distributing employee communications. • Ability to apply new technology to enhance processes and deliver better work products. • A commitment to embodying and being a steward of our organization’s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
