Description

• MetTel is a global communications solutions provider for enterprise businesses and government agencies. • Looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to join the development team in Manhattan's Financial District. • Responsible for building scalable, interactive telecommunications data across web, mobile, and social media platforms. • Ideal candidate must have experience in modern HTML, CSS, Typescript, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Next.JS, D3. • Must demonstrate depth of understanding and best-practice techniques in UI/UX solutions.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of developing and delivering customer facing web or mobile experiences • Strong track record of delivering results – portfolio required • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 • Understanding of CSS development platforms, such as TailwindCSS, Styled Components • Good understanding of application frameworks such as React, Next.JS, Angular, and NodeJS. • Proficient understanding of Typescript language and related best-practices • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git • Solid understanding of mobile-first UI design and best practices • Ability to relay UI requirements to backend development team
