Description

• Contribute to the production and deployment of user-facing mobile / web applications • Work with product owner and designers to create high-quality applications • Work closely with business stakeholders and engineering leadership to unblock engineers and mission-critical initiatives • Develop a balance of unit and end-to-end integration tests to ensure code quality • Mentor and train junior engineers

Requirements

• Ideally 5+ years of software engineering experience • Minimum of 3-5+ years of strong experience with React Native, React, and TypeScript • Minimum of 3+ years of experience leading and mentoring other web/mobile engineers • Strong React and React Native experience with knowledge of: • Render cycles and deep React gotchas • Modern state management and when to use it or not • Functional/reusable patterns • Strong TypeScript experience with understanding of: • Generics • Type Aliases vs. Interface Declaration • Merging being potentially unexpected • Strong understanding of web and mobile app performance measurement and debugging • Experience with Node/Express and Redux Sagas/React Query • Awareness of, experience with, or ability/desire to learn NextJS 14 server components • Experience with balanced unit, integration, and end-to-end testing • Experience with continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
