Description

• Manage team responsible for the accurate accounting and billing for the organization. • Oversee global accounting and banking records, ledgers, and reporting, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities. • Preparation of reconciliation and analysis of company results against trend and budget, including the reconciliation of global intercompany activity, with supporting analysis and commentary to internal and external parties. • Responsible for coordination and timely completion of the year-end audit. • Serve as a key accounting technician to research various accounting issues and new accounting standards such as but not limited to revenue recognition, investments, and consolidation/elimination rules. • Develop policies to ensure the company operates in compliance with company policies and procedures, GAAP, IFRS, Financial Accounting Standards (FASB), and other regulatory requirements. • Involvement with ad hoc requests for both data and analysis, leading and/or participating in cross-functional to drive financial and operational improvements. • Involvement in due diligence on potential acquisitions. Also, involvement in post-acquisition accounting and financial reporting integration. • Continuous transformation through the identification of processes that can be optimized or automated for improved efficiency and accuracy. • Provide training, mentoring, and development to accounting staff to ensure the function performs at maximum performance levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and CPA required • 7+ years of public and private accounting, with experience in a global corporate setting • Proactive engagement of business issues combined with thoughtful solutions • Ability to work independently and use sound judgment in decision making • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and deliver results • Strong Microsoft Office (especially Excel) skills are a must • Experience working in a private equity backed environment a plus • Excellent communication, writing, and problem-solving skills
