• The Infrastructure Engineer will be part of the infrastructure engineering & operations team. • You will automate operational processes, continually improve the NYT IT infrastructure design. • In addition, you will configure and maintain existing infrastructure components, implement upgrades. • You will report to the Associate Director, Infrastructure Services.
• 3-5 years of progressive professional experience in IT. • Experience with cloud-based deployments on AWS and GCP Cloud Platforms. • Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Version Control (Git or similar), CI/CD Tools (Drone, Jenkins), Orchestration tools (Ansible, Puppet), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloudformation). • Experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems, and virtualization platforms. • Understanding of foundational enterprise technologies such as DNS, Syslog, LDAP, and monitoring tools such as Datadog & PRTG. • Coding/scripting experience in one or more languages ex. Python, PowerShell, Perl, or Bash. • Recent relevant experience supporting IAM platforms such as Azure AD/Entra ID. • Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) concepts and implementations.
